Chapter 8 of 17

Part 2 — Check yourself

One line for each idea, in order.

  • You can hold about eleven minutes before you reach for something. Is that a limit or a measurement?
  • You have named a classmate as the person you are racing. Who is actually taking your hours?
  • You keep meaning to practise and keep not practising. What should you measure before blaming yourself?
  • Your friends are kind and none of them study. What is being transmitted, and what is the fix that is not cutting them off?
  • Somebody at home offers to take the cooking for six months. Is that a favour or a term?
  • Your habit is scheduled for evenings, when you can. Rewrite it.
