This program will require at least 15 hours per week. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with instructors during office hours, live review sessions, and partner with dedicated mentors during your journey with Cydeo.
We will teach you to think like a hacker so you can stop them in their tracks. You will learn everything you need to become a cybersecurity or information security analyst through learning cybersecurity theory, ethical hacking methodologies, and security analysis tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Our training covers five main knowledge areas that help you develop cybersecurity theory and framework:
- Cybersecurity history and theory.
- Basic programming skills and python scripting.
- Security essentials, including secure network design and implementation, endpoint defense and access control, basic analysis, compliance standards, and cryptography.
- Ethical hacking and penetration testing methodology
- Advanced analysis methodologies, incident response, and security tool specialization.
Not only are you going to develop the cybersecurity theory and frameworks, but you’ll have the technical skills to be job-ready, which includes everything from ethical hacking and penetration testing methodology to security analysis which are both needed to be a successful Security Analyst in a SOC.
This full-time program is offered during the day or in the evening. The program is four days a week for 6 hours a day (day time) and is taught 100% live with instructors. The program is 576 hours over six months. During this time, you will learn the non-technical and technical skills required to be a cybersecurity or information security analyst. As part of the non-technical training, you will learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as professional writing and reporting.
We will provide you with the required skill set that you need to build enterprise applications with Java and Spring Framework. Our program is step-by-step, providing career preparation, portfolio development, and help with your resume and the interview process.
Our program starts with the Java programming language. Our technical training will focus on the following core areas:
- Java Programming language
- Spring Framework (MVC, ORM, REST, Database)
- Unit and integration testing
- Application deployment to live
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Design Patterns
- Interview Preparation
Students will work in teams on projects that resemble the agile process environment and build confidence to tackle the interviews. Two mid-size projects will decorate your resume during the marketing process.
This program is hybrid, so you can learn at your pace. Live instructor review once a week to go over topics & assignments. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with dedicated mentors to review and prepare for interviews during your program in CYDEO.
