What You'll Build in 48 Hours Across 6 Weeks

JavaScript Essentials for Automation Testing
If your background is Java and Selenium, JavaScript will feel unfamiliar at first. This module covers the parts that matter for Playwright: variables, control flow, functions, arrays, OOP, and async patterns — promises and async/await especially. AI tools are introduced here to help you write and debug code faster. The goal is to get you functional in the language before the automation work starts.
Playwright Fundamentals
Your first week working directly with Playwright. You’ll install and configure it, write your first test functions, work with locators and browsers, organize tests into groups, and manage hooks and environment variables. AI prompt engineering is introduced as a practical tool for writing tests faster. By the end of the week, the basics are solid.
Advanced Playwright Techniques
Assertions, iframes, alerts, mouse actions, web tables, authentication flows, file uploads and downloads — this is where you work through the scenarios that come up constantly in real projects. AI prompt engineering techniques are used here to work through user stories and handle edge cases more efficiently.
Running Playwright with CI/CD Integration
Automation that only runs locally isn’t doing its job. You’ll integrate Playwright into Jenkins and GitHub Actions, configure build jobs, manage environment variables securely, generate test reports, and run tests across different environments. TDD and BDD approaches are both covered so you can work within whatever workflow your team uses.
Mastering Playwright with TypeScript + AI
This final module brings it together — Playwright at depth, with TypeScript, inside a BDD framework. You’ll work through advanced real-world scenarios and consolidate everything from the previous weeks. By the end, you’re not transitioning from Selenium anymore. You’re a Playwright engineer.
What you need before starting:
- Basic programming experience in any language (comfortable with functions, loops, conditional logic)
- Software automation testing knowledge (you’ve written automated tests before, in any framework)
- Working understanding of Git (clone, commit, push, pull, branching)
