Yes. You’ll need approximately 15 hours per week for 5 weeks. Many students work full-time IT jobs while completing the program. All sessions are live, not self-paced, so you do need to attend the scheduled times.

You earn a CYDEO SOC Training Certificate upon completion. This is a training certificate documenting 81 hours of hands-on experience with specific enterprise tools, it is not a vendor certification like GIAC or CySA+. If you have Network+ or Security+ level knowledge, this is the faster, more targeted path.

A computer with reliable internet and a webcam/mic for live sessions. All lab environments are cloud-based, you don’t install Splunk, QRadar, or CrowdStrike locally. We provide access to enterprise tool instances during the program.

If you’ve worked with one SIEM (e.g., Splunk), this program adds a second platform (QRadar), EDR (CrowdStrike Falcon), network forensics (Wireshark), and Python automation with GenAI. Multi-platform experience is increasingly valued because SOC teams frequently operate or migrate between platforms. Even experienced analysts benefit from the AI module.
